Two odes, to thoughts that never stop, and poems sown, but never grown, in the moment. And, to the relief of closing old composition books, without guilt.

“How sick of me
To present
Past personalities
Of my work…”
“I expect
Not to grow old.”
“28.14”
“Mental Serial Killers:
soul-killers
mind-killers
heart-killers
spirit-killers
Humanity’s serial killers…”
“It’s a white sky, this morning,
With tags of blue.”
“Do you expect fealty
When you excommunicate,
Or is it ritual?”
“Never doesn’t exist, so, Always
Doesn’t either…”
“The Cinematic Evolution of Word
Denying, or, Everything is Nothing… Yet,
Nothing is more. Why? Just as light is dark,
Dark is light, plus.”
“It’s strange how the most common excuses,
Of the masses, take place in me…”
“Thick grays of nether dusk float swiftly by,
So soothing, so grey.”
“God! I can’t stand (illegible),
It blights my soul!
Shut up, yourself!”
“Fear is an instance. Does that mean
It is not an emotion?”
“It’s funny; I don’t think you’d like me
As a person.”
“Morbid mind, cease your pleas,
Nothing will mend Eternity!”
“I am not the One who argues,
Just the opposite,
I am the one who grieves.”
“There will never be an End.”
“The Crime, the Crux, the anticlimactic
Lived Experience, is Age, pursuant
To Disagreement.”
“I caress the eye of bad,
With my own eyelashes…”

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
The writer then wrote whatever fragments were formed in the event and it worked splendidly.
I see the poet taking a butterfly net, if you will, to capture everything as it is escaping from the random flashing of synapses.
I also sense that the poet has recently been traumatized by something that haunts her.
I pray for peace and focus to descend upon your life.
In fraternity and vision ...
