She went away
(She’d never been)
She cannot say
(She was not there)
Where she has been
(She was not there.)
She’s swept away
(Not much a’then)
She cannot say
(She was not there)
Just where she’d been
(She’s not aware.)
She feels ‘away’
(Where nothing’s been)
She cannot say
(She was not there)
It doesn’t seem
(There’s reason to care.)
She went away…

Companion piece:
How Big?
How big
Is a tiny Hell?
How small
Is God’s enormous heaven?

Seven Days
I feel like
Paper blinked,
And its ink
Faded
Me away…

Love Tinka
How small is God's enormous heaven? I like to think small enough to occupy our soul.
Seven Days - like mist we evaporate.
Nice evocative writing. Sets my mind on a tangent.
