Once I saw a Dawn,
A new dawn of such unearthly beauty,
I wept, I wept for joy, I wept for love,
I wept for me, because,
I wasn’t that dawn.

Once I knew a night,
A night of such crazy beauty,
I laughed with relief, I laughed with hope,
I wept for me, because
I was that night.

Once I was an infant,
An other dawn of such earthly beauty,
I wept, I wept for futures and pasts,
I wept for me, because,
I wasn’t an infant.

Once I grew adult,
An old night of adultered beauty,
I wept, I wept without hope, I wept for me,
I wept for me, because,
I was an adult.

Once I questioned my mind,
An awkward dawn showed such beauty,
I laughed, as I wept with losing my lasts,
I wept for me, because,
I’m not just my mind.

Once I realized Mankind,
A colored night showed such beauty,
I wept with love, I wept for joy,
I wept for me, because,
I’ll never be dawn, again.
