A Lady came
To visit here, a cousin
Of friends, who held her near,
As I do now.
This lovely lady
Gave me pause, gave me life
Beyond what was
Available, here.
She thought herself
Into my head, thought
Thoughts of otherness,
Freshly applied.
I groan
With my own thoughts,
Grown,
Because of a Lady
Named Kate.
