My Scent…

It seems my scent has faded,
It seems I am one sense poorer.
It seems my scent is jaded,
It seems it doesn’t matter.
It seems I once smelt youthful,
It seems that time has past.
It seems my scent is now brittle,
As I once knew, nothing lasts.
It seems my scent is jaded,
It seems I have a lack.
It seems my scent has faded,
It 'seems' it matters less…

Our senses change the more we age; you capture it well in poignant verse; well done!

I can definitely relate to your poem but some say it's all in our minds. Like you say, it really doesn't matter because no one hears us but ourselves.
