Bounce...
~The ball
Has been courted.~
Merry, merry,
Quite contrary,
How does your
Existence grow?
Debutants
And leotards,
Pretty princesses,
All in a row.
Foosball, football,
Give a guy a break!
Bounce!
~Twilight stars
Without meaning.~
Very, very
Quite contrary,
How do you
Continue turning?
Wantoness
And pilgrimages,
Pretty pretenses,
All in a row.
Race-ball, face-ball,
Give a girl a break!
Bounce!
~This God
Has had enough.~
Sorry, sorry,
Quite contrary,
How now can I,
In spirit, grow?
Freedom’s nest,
And coward’s breast,
Pretty pathetic,
All in a row.
Preach ball, reach ball,
Give a world a break!
Bounce…
