Ribbon Rain-Cloud was but a child
When called to head her family’s
Vanguard of weight. Delighted,
She swept ahead, squeezing,
Through her diaper, a sprinkle
Of rain, excited by her self-ability!
Ribbon rain-child strutted her ‘stuff’,
Wimpled by larger voices coming behind
Her silken thread to the planet.
Ribbon rode the front of the storm,
Dipping and dashing before behind,
Her target, to please herself!
Ribbon Rain-Cloud was but a child,
She tried to salve the ragged edges
Of eternities of weight. Deflated,
She fell below, treading,
Through diapers-impervious, a drop
Of small rain, following her death.

I wish I'd written this: a StormSpinner kind of write. I love the imagery; the birth, life, death of as storm vividly imagined and penned. Yes. Saving this, you've outbested yourself.
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
