The ‘F*** You’ Factor

by Erin Elizabeth Kelly-Moen — Read all 1,670 poems by Erin Elizabeth Kelly-Moen

Monday, April 30, 2007

I don’t condone it, but I
Am feeling the ‘fuck you’ factor,
Way too much, anymore.
Maybe because I realize
It’s There.

F*** you, fuck this,
F*** is around, only because
Of a concept, because,
It’s loves misconception.
It isn’t me.

F*** you. F*** me,
These are words I can
Squander, because
They are not me, they
Are others,

In reaction,
Anymore. Continually,
I feel I am fucked…

I felt like that once. Yesterday, I think.
Oh what the fuck, maybe it was today.
Thanks for this, Erin Elizabeth Kelly-Moen.

Dear Erin,
You've made me smile with your write about my least favorite word. I often wonder who came up with it to begin with and why people let it roll off their tongues so easily. Oh well, bleep it.
Hugs,
Marcia

this made me smile for it completely illustrates some of my own feelings of late. Splendid bit of edgy writing here.
