I put on a tank top, today,
Agedly, just before I turn forty-eight,
And re-noticed an ‘angel kiss’
I hadn’t seen in a long time,
Back halfway past the right strap.

I flipped my glasses up, to get
A better view, and thought, “Oh, geez,
I’d forgotten about you!” In writing this,
I tried to kiss it, just now, but,
Couldn’t quite reach it, with my own lips.

I thought, “How stupidly funny!” Because,
I had, two-days before, to me, noticed,
my most noticeable sexy-angel-kiss,
On the back of my left heel.
Winter has been long lived, in Arizona.

Angel kisses occur more often
On upper bodies, than lowly feet. Their
Range and forms have always been
An amazement to me, on others, and
On myself, I have several,
And ‘two’.

In the middle top of my chest,
Where breasts divide, slightly right-sided,
I have a ‘vampire-angel-kiss’. My
Youngest sister can be thanked for that term,
Long ago uttered, it’s stuck with me since…

Two tiny blemishes upon my skin, two
‘tooth pricks’, but, totally different.
The right one, to my right, looks
Like a vertically alert eye,
Happy, almost. The smaller one,
To my left, is horizontally slifted,
Frowning with rectitude. Together,
They are like a Sci-Fi grimace of a ‘Happy Face’.

I see the connection. From my right shoulder,
To my displaced vampire heart, to my left heel is
My largest angel-kiss of all, it’s on the hued
Side of my belly button, but, slightly higher.

Okay, I guess my skin
Is a constellation, but, whose?

Not mine...
