At The Brow

Singe my hair and sere me black,
Life’s color is a happenstance.
Wail and weep and wonder how
Your eyes always meet at the brow.
“Tell me who you are, in the woods!”
“I am God, in the woods.”
“Tell me who you are on this world!”
“I am God, on this world.”
Pale my hair and freeze me white,
Life’s colors are not wrong or right.
Binge and flail and covet Now,
Your eyes still meet at the brow.
“Tell me How we are, in the Woods!”
“We are in heaven, in the woods.”
“Tell me how we are on this world!”
“We are Hell, on this World...”
Create fears and water tears,
Life’s colors are not life’s arrears.
Call and seek and wonder how
All our eyes meet at the brow.
“Tell me where to go, in my words!”
“Go to hell, with your words.”
“Tell me who I am on this World!”
“You are Heaven, on this World.”
