I’m scared of kangaroos,
And, maybe, platypus, too!
I don’t want Natures
Evolved claws
Slicing me
Into pieces. Oh, wait,
That already happened!
Not by nature,
By Man.
I’m scared of looky-loos,
And, maybe, impromptu tides.
I don’t want Sciences
Evolving minds
Controlling slicing me
Into pieces. Oh, wait,
That already happened, again.
Not natured,
But, Manned.
I’m scared of misplaced dues,
And, maybe my own rectitude.
I don’t want platitudes, or,
Evolution, anymore,
Slicing me
Into pieces. Oh, wait,
That already created
A need to go
Uncreated.
