She’s not
A saver of corporations,
Warfare or judgment.
She’s a saver
Of moths and bats
And spiders.
She’s not
A saver of human illness,
Children or absolution.
She’s a saver
Of heart rocks, wood
And sand.
She’s not
A saver of aggrandization,
Arrears or solutions.
She’s a saver
Of her own papers, words
And thoughts.
She’s not
A saver of shattered willingness,
Spirits and casts.
She’s a saver
Of flowers, artwork
And years.
She is a saver
Of cats. Yes, another
One. A beautiful kitten…
