A splash
Of spilled beer,
On a good-night shirt,
And a spritz of Georgio,
Commingled on my chest.
(I thought,
‘Well, that one had fun
With you, semi-frees your head!’
‘Though you hated the smell,
In Wisconsin youth, it’s
All you drink, now!’ That’s
Good, the others had superior
… ordinance! Yeah! That’s the word
I’ve been struggling for…)
A spritz
Of applied perfume
Fades on a day-worn shirt,
And would only illicit
‘That smells good!’ It,
Not me, commingled on my chest.
