She lie there,
Studying the back-flow of blood
In the catheter’s tube,
Wondering why nothing had gone wrong
During the minor procedure.
She lay there,
A cold soul in a body of warm blood,
Caught in a catheter’s tube,
Wondering how everything had gone wrong
During her life’s brief procedure.

Thought provoking: wondering why nothing (everything) went wrong - sadness in these lines. Very well penned.
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
Outstanding composition in poetic-philosophic contents. "Lying There"
is an aliment for the learning minds.
