What if my ‘pet’ was
A full-bloomed
Iris stalk, walking?

What if my ‘pet’ was
A midge-fly, in mid-air?
How would I protect?

What if my ‘pet’ was
A chain of sand,
Lost in a sea of particles?

What if my ‘past’ was
All of that?
Would I be able to stand?
