I persued a few, scant
Raindrops outside, on a
Hot tonight, lit by a street lamp.
Pesky thing! The light,
From the street lamp,
I mean, at night-bright.
I pushed away the
Shadow of myself, older now.
Everything, lit by a scant lamp.
Picky thing! The Light.
From the street lamp,
Illuminating my life.

Very enlightening. I have a phobia to street lights since I was little. We never needed a watch to know when it was time to go home. Time flew so quickly in those days and even more rapidly today. Peace, Love and Blessings Always, Paul.
Shadow of myself, older now,

Illuminated wonderment of rhyme - excellent, Erin.
