-every action shadows transaction-
Maybe today
I want to play!
Could I? Would I?
The scent on my fingers
Dictates today, year
By year, go figure...
You! Today!
I don’t want to play!
If I did, could I?
The smell of my shoulder
Predicts tomorrow,
Year by year, go figure…
Okay! Today?
I can’t play, if
I could, I would.
The sound of my household
Pieces my world, today,
Tomorrow is years away.
-I don’t want to be the opposite
Of what I am-

Be always safe,
Karen
But no way.
Inside, I have to stay.
So no play, today,
Maybe later.
Fun little poem, thanks.
Walt
Take care, Erin.
