As the nipple
Dips from view,
On the right, owner glimpses,
Sees the left
As a serious,
Uprightish version,
Of Life.
The slope(s) are
Obvious, in every thought-way.
I’ve glimpsed nipples, we all have. We’ve
Suckled, without much thought,
Like in a Sit-Com moment
Of Life.
Sometimes, pools of dark
Come back, revisited, looking
And lacking, of course, the full
Force of rebeing … an idiot.
Sometimes, hell is glimpsed,
Or lived, a lifetime within a moment
Of Life.
As far as nipples,
They’ve slipped from view.
Left or right, it doesn’t
Flatter what’s left, here,
Our own cripples
of upright revisions
Of Life.

My favorite part:
"Sometimes hell is glimpsed,
Or lived, a lifetime within a moment
Of life."
Or lived, a lifetime within a moment
