Funny how
‘fresh male
Genetic material’
Is sperm, reidentified.

Funny how
‘female genetic material’
Unlocks a mind,
Or, the back of a head.

Seems to me,
Holding ovum dearly
Unlocks live-birth,
Spewing genetics,

Without throwing kind
To the wind of genitalia.
We’re already there,
In the back of a head.

A very interesting perspective...
I love that third stanza, it provokes
wonderful images, both abstract and concrete
in my mind.

ERIN - TERRIFIC WRITE!

Remember the old Ben Casey Show? Dr. Zorba drew symbols on the blackboard -

Man - ...... - a whole bunch of lil spermies.
Woman - O - for Ova, or Ovum.
Birth - ^ - Fertilization ?
Death - * - Finalization ?

And like our National Motto - United We Stand, Divided We Fall" -

TOGETHERNESS - MERGING - MELDING = PROPIGATION !!!

AND THE ACT ITSELF AIN'T HALF BAD EITHER !!!
