I should have left you standing
There, concerned, worried, unconnected.
I wish I’d left you standing
Where expectations withered away.
I should have left me sitting
Here, concerned with the world, unconnected.
I wish I’d left me sitting
Bare, where spring gathered every day.
I dould of would, if I cared, being scared,
Laired where inner is connected.
I wish I’d left you straining,
Where expectations wear away.
I plould of could, as I stand sitting, beared,
Dared, where connections under-mine.
I wish I‘d left well-enough-alone.
Scared, winter expectations gather, again.
