A mouse
lives in my house
of more than four cats,
you can’t imagine what
that means to me!
(i saved a mouse
from a childhood cat,
it climbed its tail,
and nipped my thumb)
I have a
quirckle in my house,
not fairies;, animals, cats,
imagine that, or what,
that would mean to see.
(i’m worried, for the mouse,
for mice, from childhood,
one placed in my house,
facing off cats)
A house
Fell on a mouse,
And me, with family cats,
Gusting unimaginable.
Wouldn’t that be? …
(i’m afraid to love mice,
i want this tiny mouse to live,
placed within my catty-ways,
in my house)

I discovered a field rat in the clothes hamper this week. When I reached in to pull out the clothes it launched itself at me and then fell into the washing machine disgruntled and angry. Perplexed, I knew that I must do something; clothes needed to be washed, and my wife must be appeased. Hesitant to reach in for fear of being infected with rabies, I instead opted to fill the washing machine and drown it. It was very effective, this approach, and an hour after I had thrown it out on the lawn, one of the neighborhood cats found it and ate it.
Chew on that ...
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
