If Words Were a Reality Show

by Erin Elizabeth Kelly-Moen — Read all 1,670 poems by Erin Elizabeth Kelly-Moen

If I could lip a poem,
Like a connoisseur of food,
Would I be famous?
Or, pariahed?

If I could sip an essence
From a language,
Would I be dead,
And famous?

If I could plot the stars,
Into an alphabet of numbers,
Would we keep dying,
Famously?

If I could knot the fars,
Without renumeration,
Would I be pariahed?
Or, famous?

Would I be dead?

Or newly read?

Can I keep a reader
Occupied?

Can I keep a reader occupied? I should say so, Erin! We are oftentimes our harshest critic: I know. Believe that. Excellent write, love the progression.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
