Mammoth quick,
I mean like teeth,
Two more gone, not
Naturally; two tusks
Ripped from a jawbone.
(Mine.)

Phantom quick,
I mean like life,
Twitched and gone, not
Naturally, when tusks are
Ripped from yaw-bone.
(Mine.)

Was it quick?
I mean like words? No,
Two more are gone, time-
Naturally; two justs,
Just when blood filled holes
(Mine.)

Clotted.

WOW- this made me think of what they do to poor elephants that makes me want to kick the asses of the people who do it and wear ivory-anyway, I digress....tooth pain, dentists, etc....all evil ;) Lol-

It is often harder to accept the loss of our teeth even more than any other physcical characteristic in the aging process...such a reminder...
