I wear glasses,
Since the second grade,
That would be 1967, or so.
Wow! I feel old.
My first pair
Showed me the world,
In wonderful clarity!
Now, I’m old.
I share my glasses
With replaced lenses,
Glossed over in 2010.
How, I wonder.
My last pair,
Shadowed me the world,
In compounded blurrity.
Holy Cow! I’m old…
