I’m thinking I’m thanking
A life obscured, bifurcating
The world as the world zips on
Into practical, digital processions
Of past age, with muted aggressions.

I’m thanking I’m thinking,
Didn’t know how long I would, or even
If I should, scanning life, descending; Need to
Warp on to something comforting, if I can.
To whom it may concern, laughing…

A painting of one's living atmosphere with psychoanlytical hues... "Thinking Thanking" flows seriously on a cerebrating brook, and makes hilarious waves as it leaves it course to enter the ocean of reality... An exquisite poem that strikes ontological and psychological thoughts, I have read.

We all get these obsessions from time to time, Erin. And that last line is the best, laughing is great therapy.
