I need absinthe!
I need to fly! Out under from merry-go-rounds,
Out from my mind. Need to fly..
I need some absinthe!
Just another drug! On ferris-wheel driven
Hopes of devotions, and thought of ourselves.
I would like some absinthe, please,
Just recently found; the process,
The taste, the high; flying..
A perfect anal retentive soul,
Such as I, retains, measures of past,
Present and future.
I’m oral retentive!
I need Absinthe -a- similar process,
Of my mind. I need to fly!

the romance of belle époque naughtiness
must give way to what's in the glass..
Loved your poem, Erin
Lady Vivian
Absinthe is a bit stronger than my usual glass of wine.
I cannot say if I ever tried anything that refined.
But I love the taste of anise so let's toast if only for one time.
I dare to say, this drink may put me away so I probably cannot stay!
Amen
