Dancing to Adam:Part II

Musically Insane
I start the CD with trepidation,
wanting to be released from me,
knowing I will be lost in tones
of drum beats and guitar's wails,
strings and bass, piano
and richness of voice, which
(why should you come when I call)
overwhelms my inhibitions
in reverse of frenetic drugs
or stupefing alcohol.
Purety of sound links me with
my primitive self, aching
and surreal, (I've been up all night)
I feel like Ray Charles,
blinded and center-swaying to inner
intuition, (ooohhh, it's too late,
to get highhhhhh nowwwwwwww)
quivers
my soul,
reverbs of Adam's voice
melt my very being
and recreate
me
into tonal language,
piercing echos, and
symphonic winds,
making my soul sing
the ultimate, exquisite
epiphany of...myself.
Oh, god, a small break,
then I am swept away again,
(if I bring a little music
I can fit right in) into music's
sweet prison. (I may take a holiday
in Spain, and fly away to
somewhere new)....captured,
free (someone stole my shoes,
but there's a couple of bananas and
a bottle of booze) to fly away...
(to fly away to someone new)...
I want to fly away to somewhere new.
Exit stage right...("Don't it always seem to go
that you don't know what you got
'til it's gone, they paved paradise
and put up a parking lot"...)
.
why not?
