Wash of Water

Soft wash of water's power
flows through me
in gentle tumbling
of my human hand
as I stroke your surface
with my silken brush
flickering there
shimmering here
curving loosely
with lilting sweep
up to grace
of feathery green
as streaking pastels
float above me
and I stand watch
sighing softly
in my dreams.
