Fiery Splash

by Erin Elizabeth Kelly-Moen — Read all 1,670 poems by Erin Elizabeth Kelly-Moen

Points of light begin the dance,
they bow and soar and meet askance,
in blue-glow flight,
of cyber night
and start to weave
hypnotic trance.

Colored sparks take up the sway,
coming through mind's disarray,
they march in rhyme,
hum-voiced, sublime,
and send up scents
of word's bouquet.

Sunburst starlets flare and flash
lancing into creative cache,
the sight so strong,
eye's banquet song,
poetry written
with fiery splash.

Great piece Erin, some very unexpected rhymes, good rhythm maintained throughout and I particularly liked your verse pattern which as well as supporting the meter visually enhanced the mood created.

Erin,
Oh Yeah, love the pace and rhythm in this! All the stanza's flow beautifully, but I really enjoyed this one...
"Colored sparks take up the sway,
coming through mind's disarray,
they march in rhyme,
hum-voiced, sublime,
and send up scents
of word's bouquet."

Smiling!

Hugs,
Maria

Yes dear, a firey splash indeed! Casting flames all asunder, making love and making thunder. The lighing flash, the oceans roar,
far away a starlight shore. Two lover's meet and are touching hands, then suddenly your love is at his command. Can you understand the passion spent in loving him. What fun, what joy. The night supreme. Just what rolled off the top of my head when I read your sweet poem. Forgive a crazy old man his babbles. Bill
