She agonizes, in thousands of ways,
on raising a child. She sees
how she should be, as a parent,
no warranty was given at her own birth,
no guarantee of character building
by absent father, no money back,
the bet is officially ended,
with pathetic results,
weakly mewling ambitions
and slack self-respect,
fearful of confrontation,
lacking depth...watching herself
resist her growth, reject
responsibilities, still she tries,
feeling motherly-inadequate,
and on the point of giving up,
when she wants to run away,
her child looks up at her,
with laughing love, and exclaims,
"You're the best Mommy in the World!",
and she means it.

This Kid's yard sale is getting ridiculously stressful, they want me to wiggle my nose and, poof, it's all set-up! After bags of toys gone through, there is a small pile to sell and half of the garaged-stuff back in their rooms! Help! :)

In my eyes there are no real "experts" when it comes to raising kids. We all learn as we go along. To have the childs respect and true love is one of the greatest joys in the world.... Great write!
