Poetic Seas

by Erin Elizabeth Kelly-Moen — Read all 1,670 poems by Erin Elizabeth Kelly-Moen

She suspends
her poetic motes,
before her punative eyes,
demanding action in jumbled mind,
encouraging order from chaos,
pleading for peace.

She suspends
herself in mid-breath,
pausing to bathe phrases,
looking into caverns of jumbled rhyme,
sheltering births of words,
seeking her piece.

She suspends
her moot disbeliefs,
entering waters of worlds,
creating wondrous shoals of jumbled lines,
submerging aching soul,
into Poetic Seas.

Erin-This is beautiful. You know also that one can edit something over and over until sometimes it turns into something totally different, not less but not the same. ;-) If that makes any sense. lol
