Painting the Town With Water

A brand new Year,
ringing and bringing
once again the fear
of time's flying, sighing,
afraid I may disappear.
A mining town,
dying and crying,
dressed in copper gown,
of cold metal's buying
mineral souls to pull down.
A night-time class,
living and painting,
has come 'round at last,
salving and soothing,
creating water's stained glass.

I know the stained glass you paint with the water will be just as beautiful as the words you post here for us to read. You will never be forgotten!
