Standing on the mountain,
sitting on desert floor,
brings no height of power,
only mind's muted roar.
Sliding down the mountain,
looking for nature's cure,
stumbling over life,
stopped by copper's lure.
Staying on the mountain,
chinked into graveled door,
cemented to power's height,
can't see bottom anymore.

How you hit that dead on! Not many of us can actually walk through life...it's more of an obstacle course that we wind our way through.
Very symbolic and filled with meaning!
