I was talking about some men who were calling names and using dirty language against those who voiced anti-war opinions and the others who were blindly supporting them.

I came to read Reason's comments - he knows that I, too, am frustrated with the ignorance. I am outraged that I cannot rejoice at the news of a future grandchild. (My eighth shall be born into a world that I fear is unfit for life and dreams.) I needed his words. His philosophy is much like mine. Perhaps the lesson is that we must teach the younger children well, and never give up the fight for peace, justice, sanity. The stakes have never been so high, but fear and depression are, perhaps, our greatest enemy. Take heart, and know that you are not alone. Together, those who "see" may someday lead the blind into the light of truth and wisdom and a better way.

the world has never been a truley stable entity... from tribals wars to viscious beasts, from injustice to indifference, from disease to calamitous natural upheaveals but mankinds endures, even in the face of doom... there is no such thing as security in an insecure world but there is in-secuity within the grasp of our spirts and minds...
