Travesty

by Erin Elizabeth Kelly-Moen — Read all 1,670 poems by Erin Elizabeth Kelly-Moen

Wednesday, May 21, 2003

Traveling spaces leave no traces,
blindness seeing gives more meaning,
hurrying searching,
less enjoying,
travesty taut in Time’s design.

Journeying traces leave no spaces,
eyes wide-shut; vision is cut,
hurrying fleeing,
anger groping,
travesty taught in Man’s design.

Sigh.. You are a truthteller.. thank goodness this truth is less bitter for the benefit of reading it with your words. You round the edges so well.. I do love the way your mind works. You never run from your subject or meet it half way..I always learn something. katy.
