Copper flower
with blue glass center
floats above my head.

Metallic tones
of gold dragonfly wings
chime lustfully.

Lavender
and pale green cloud puffs
bring serenity.

Colorado,
seen through memoried eyes,
is haunting.

Love this, Erin; brings back memories when I went through Colorado on the way to Utah; it was the first time I had ever seen mountains, and I was absolutely spellbound! Colorado IS a beautiful place, and so is Utah! :) (((HUGS))) and love, your friend in Texas (there are no mountains here; we're FLAT!), Karen Lynn. (And besides, it is TOO DANG HOT for my tastes; BRING ON FALL!)
