“Did you see those serpentine cloud shadows flying high?” she asked.
“Just a glimpse of the shadow of that Silverado that drove by.” he replied.
“Did you remember to send a nice birthday card to my mom?” he asked.
“Yes, and penned a note asking on the health of her Tom,” she replied.
“Can you imagine to what heavens our spaceships will go?” she asked.
“Geez, look at how high that grass has grown, I have to mow.” he replied.
“Can you try to manage to wash my dirty work clothes today?” he asked.
“If I can remember between doing dishes and dreaming away,” she replied.

“Don’t you balance the checkbook; I don’t know if we’re ahead?" he asked.
“But the chickens need observing, I keep the total in my head,” she replied.
“Will you read what I wrote and let me know if you like it?” she asked.
“No time, have to go to my corral and shovel out horse shit.” he replied.
“I don’t need his support, I have my self admiration...” she sighed.
“I don’t know why she doesn’t like things that bring me sedation.” he sighed.
