Oh, Salvia! I fear chill brings seasoned
expiration to proliferation,
alas, the waning such seems unreasoned
to temporaried incorporation.
I fear chill, blasé tediousness kills
rooted strength, red-tipped spires begin to wilt,
alas, the creeping covers blackened hills,
already frosted by blizzards of guilt.
Oh, Salvia! I fear chill dissipates
fruition, negating aspirations,
browning the blooming that anticipates
and freezes future of expectations.
Hie, Salvia! Expel your seeded girth,
implant your birth into my fecund earth.

smiling yet grieving; making a small ordinary thing into something to wonder over. Thanks for that, I'm smiling too!
