Spirit Shown

by Erin Elizabeth Kelly-Moen — Read all 1,670 poems by Erin Elizabeth Kelly-Moen

Wednesday, October 22, 2003

An interest shown, a gentle brush,
spiritual touch; reverberates,
illustrates; visioned the night,
into dry sight, heart’s beat sown.

A breath of love, the gift of light,
into blurred sight; condenses,
dispenses; voiced wings of wren,
sent by friend, earth’s bound dove.

As freedom seeds, tall tower stands,
soul grows hands; progresses,
expresses; echoes resound,
with what's been found, id’s life needs.

"Spirit Shown" in twelve lines depicted the face of grace.

It is a true expression of a heart that knows how to synchronize wonders to be poetized by a mind that paints with creative words.

Blest be the Author of this touching beauty in "Spirit Shown".

Erin,
You always have a way of painting us these moments with such vivid detail and color. This is always one of my favorite stops on the den!
