I Like That I Eye

by Erin Elizabeth Kelly-Moen — Read all 1,670 poems by Erin Elizabeth Kelly-Moen

Sunday, November 16, 2003

That I can see I as I can see I,
I like that, I am that; am I I?
I see I to I eye that see I, I
like that I see eye as I eye I,
I like that, I eye I like I like that.

This made me think. Thinking keeps the brain young. Thank you, Erin. Love and peace, Regis.

Interesting play on words, Erin, although personally I don't relate to this poem as much as I do to many of your more powerfully visceral ones!

Thanks....

To many eyes/I in that for me, is it anything like an I for an eye? Interesting, Erin. Peace, Ed & Rufuz

("I eye that see I")It's a good thing I'ze a see or I couldnt have read that. Or am I an airplane, that flies like that I'ze a see, or just a large body of water(a sea) below what I'za a see, I'm glad that you'ze a see with eyes a see like that, from wherever and a what a ever i'ze see to say to say to see, from where I'ze a see i am.(from where ever or what ever ize a am- (if you dont like it you wont like it)(only exception are some green vegatables im a physically alleragic too)

I Like your poem- Like the only joke Iknow and can recall of two psychiastrists at a convention"your fine how am I?"(fine as long as Iknow Im fine to see you that way)(otherwise....!!!#%%.^&***)

It's also nice your have home, as I was once used to then roamed alot-if not to keep and save things-like my old question mark stick I picked up on the hiway some years ago-or the little plastic c from a car fender, my little delta(arab letter) stick, a million boxes, dollar bills with strange serial numbers I built a code of(spent on cigs and food years ago)..a frog that never moved....apicture of gina lola tola I came to belive a professional spy keeping tabs of me, a little bread box that exactly fit the little bridge, toaster, ..you get out of thiongs what you put into them-i.e -a sex symbol guard, warm toaster, hidden either the size of a bread box, or expanded to a trussle bridge, making me a figure of international spying, romance, world life and death, my flashlight collection, signal lanterns, picture of lady silver slipper, busted lock, all lost on the hiway along with some of my poetry. No one keep for me any of this stuff(howd tyou like to get a package in the mail with a buchof these thigns asking youo to store it(if you were a very wealthy physicin from college). That ize a see to laugh at myself ... i 'aze a still here-may all they'za all still see, my humor, despite my frustrations and anymosities, a-come and go over the years- and stil have a few friends could easily do with me out as much as they could a box of dirt, sticks and old papers.....though id still like to have all those things.

My Jack Russell Terrier chases her little short tail, even hems it against the wall and catches it. She has done so on so many occasions that the tip is bald. Now, I wouldn't accuse you of chasing your tail (though I suppose that could be a great pasttime) but this recursive thing you did with "I"is like facing two mirrors at each other. I'm sure you meticulously carried your logic from beginning to end in the piece, but I'm just going to have to take that on faith, Erin. LOL
Best regards from (me, (me, (me, (me, (me, (me, (me, (me, (me, (me))))))))))!

It's a wonderful feeling!...

when you see yourself
in the way that you see yourself;

when you're completely satisfied...

in what you see in yourself
that you like in yourself.

What a wonderful feeling this is!
