Marred Beauty

Happenstance repressed your majesty,
perhaps more spring water could have birthed
perfection’s seeds beneath your petaled form,
revealing essence of crimson's oblique worth.
Appreciation should patiently conjoin
with perspective viewed without fool’s will,
earthy naivety shrived by eternity
cannot trust opaqueness to live fulfilled.
So, flourish now, singular beauty,
be shallowed by no man’s obtuse sight,
Nature made, sovereignty delayed;
I extol your timeless right to thrive.
