You are there, you-being,
then, you are not?

(she suppressed a thought
and birthed…collusion)

Have you ever smelled
the scent of fear
upon your skin
as your mind left you,
birthing entropy?

(it’s twining showed no caring
soothingly frenetic
her heartbeat fevered)

Have you ever felt
you weren’t who you were,
then you were not?
