Asymmetrical New Year

New Years is melting, melding, maddening,
Fractures feature fake magnetizing rules
Of escaped scope. It seems so saddening
To be rused by loosed affinity’s fuels.
Asymmetrical sight manages fright
Of future limelight, not so divine as
To be lived all the time. Oh, light, so bright,
Blinding bald hindsight, which everyone has
Entwined in brittled mind, help me tonight
Live humanistic inspiration, to
Be both kind and wise in life, if you might,
Or show me, in my need to see it’s true ,
There is merit in mismanaging time,
Grant me, please, the ability to rhyme.

This part my favorite, as true as it is witty:
Asymmetrical sight manages fright
of future limelight, not so divine as
to be lived all the time. Oh, light, so bright,
blinding bald hindsight, which everyone has
Good thought-provoking write, Erin!
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!
