Unfair, you universe! Glad surveyor
Of Time’s precocious breadth! Unfair to be
Ever living; you cosmic betrayer,
I yearn for eyes that view long liberty,

Splicing time into Möbius strips.
Awareness comes with intelligent sight,
Aching mind divines ubiquitous script
Allotting Man a span of shortened light.

The fright! The lessened life! How came this cheat?
Sad man’s design, to miss the scope of Time.
Why growth of mind? Vainglorious defeat
Awaits this cataclysmic mental climb.

Resolve! Decry! Use inner sight to sky
Bold heights! Imagine all; I choose to fly!

Dear Erin- Can you imagine two(or four or eight....)each two men burning a stick at both ends not knowing of eachother at all-is it possible everyone but them start to see light at both ends? A short end of the stick con trick, sponsored by a fool thinking his stick is longer than the rest. Like your thoughts-costs more to keep a ubuiqitious script of shorten light than to water and feed all the souls of the desert-part of a circle without the whole does not exist. marvin
