Echoes Laugh

Expectantly, she threw eyes open, seized
The day, for poetry had changed vision!
She laughed! And heard echoes, glad permission
From past; appreciation's been released!
Sad loss within, unknown and silent; filled,
Now, noisy and crowded, word-worlds open
Their mouths, proclaim their 'being', while hoping
To influence the living. Cycles tilt.
Time's lines embrace cacophony, defends
Proud passion through timeless need, human mind
Consumes itself and shares the feast; to find
A voice, a poem, a star; a path so wends.
She settles pen, unaware of guilt, one
Word, then another, freed, as Time moves on.
WELL written poem otherwise, Erin..right among the very best here today!
Best regards,
Leland
