Scared heart of child with sacred trust betrayed,
you wander life wondering how to free
beauty you see inside yourself. Life chained
is not the plan of youthful days. Vileness

killing innocence angers decency,
we ache to help abate cruel lessons blow.
Compassion’s legions cry to see you bleed!
Atrocities! We can’t let evil grow!

Coward not! Your light, divine; keep head high,
shout with outrage, make courage your reply.
