her beautiful dress, is hiding a bruise,

by her daddy.
What would you say, to make yourself seem,
as if you were her in the flesh,
if only you knew, how fast her nose bleeds;
'educated' each night
by her daddy.
How much do you wonder, why she doesn't speak?
her eyes are so scared, don't you know
how her face was so tear-streaked
and bled like her love,
for her daddy
This is a topic that needs to be addressed much more often that it is - as writers, we can do something about that. Thank you for bringing such an important topic to light.
