A Deeper Beat
Some think their voice must fill the air,
That truth exists when others stare,
That meaning forms where echoes land,
And worth is shaped by each demand.
But silence holds a different weight,
A shape beyond the loud debate,
Not every truth is built to swell,
Some truths unfold but never tell.
What speaks the most may not be heard,
And presence doesn’t need a word,
The self outgrows the urge to prove,
And learns that stillness, too, can move.
Not all that’s true requires sound,
Some roots grow deeper underground,
What holds its form without a name,
No longer seeks the crowd or fame.
