Thank You

I loved you with a boundless flame,

Too deep for words, too pure to claim,

You turned your back, and now I see,

That loss belongs to you, not me.

What felt like sorrow, sharp and wide,

Turned out to be a gift inside,

A brighter path, a golden key,

To all the love I owe to me.

You never saw the truth inside,

A love too rare for you to guide,

I leave with strength, my spirit whole,

A brighter flame within my soul.

The love I kept now lights my way,

It shaped the dawn I hold today,

No longing binds, no shadow strays,

I walk restored to brighter days.

So thank you for the part you played,

For letting go, a choice you made,

It opened doors I couldn’t see,

And taught my heart its dignity.
