Who Nor where you were Some echo in my being Some feeling Deep in my heart Large you grew Gnawing Entertaining A craving First... I felt you move Watched you come to life And live... A miniature me And some parts him. And I learned... Love... Still, That 'Feeling' Called to me Come here Be free I will answer your every prayer Serve me... Selfishly, I declined My search redefined 25 years of this... I began again... Not looking back Til then... When over the horizon He cast his Sterling pen... And darkness came... 5 more years of this Which I served well Not looking back... For a moment I was a thief Twas beyond belief And love lay spent 40 years of this And I thought No more There is no more white butterfly I shall say Good bye As all things end Yet 50 is around the bend And words still come My heart still yearns And I have not died... Though some days I lay and cry... For love that does not serve And dreams...
